Cotton tote bag featuring a reproduction of Alice Neel's Self-Portrait painted at 80 years of age (1980).

A striking contrast to the typical representations of idealised femininity, Neel’s only painted self-portrait is openly accepting of her ageing body.

Printed both sides, the front of the bag features a full colour printed reproduction of Neel's Self-Portrait painting and the exhibition title, and the reverse is custom printed with the Barbican logo.

Material: 280gsm heavyweight natural cotton.

Size: 347 x 390mm. 32cm handles.

Exclusive to the Barbican to accompany the Alice Neel: Hot Off The Griddle exhibition.
