Mini National Theatre Model
£50.00
Each of these models is designed, modelled and finished in the UK by an independent designer and manufacturer, dedicated to keeping the beauty of concrete, Brutalist architecture alive.
The National Theatre was, according to Prince Charles- " a clever way of building a nuclear power station in the middle of London without anyone objecting". While his view is unsurprising- the design split architectural opinion- even amongst those who often favoured the modernist aesthetic. Unapologetically Brutalist inside and out the National Theatre is home to three Theatres, including the Olivier Theatre named after its founder Laurence Oliver.
