Primary Shades Necklace by Jennifer Campbell

£32.00

Jennifer Campbell is the artist and jewellery designer behind East London based Sodabay studio. As a regular visitor to the Barbican Centre, she has based this new collection on colours, textures and shapes found around the building.

Taking inspiration from both the natural and the artificial world, Campbell’s ceramic jewellery crosses the boundaries between painting, sculpture and fashion. The beads are individually handmade in polymer clay, resulting in a totally unique finish with slight variations in form, colour and texture.

For this piece Campbell was influenced by the Golden Lane estate and its use of primary colours. Built in the 1950's, Golden Lane Estate is located just next to the Barbican estate.

The necklace can be worn anywhere between neck and bust length, due to the adjustable cord.

Materials: Polymer clay beads and recycled waste leather cord.

Dimensions: max. cord length is 80cm.
