If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase please email shop@barbican.org.uk and the Barbican Shop team will be in touch with you directly.

Distance Selling Regulations

If you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receiving your items. This includes any delivery charges but does not include the cost of returning the items.

Returning unwanted items

Please return any unwanted items, unused and in their original packaging by registered post within 28 days of receiving your order. Barbican Shop will issue a refund or replacement within seven days of receipt of the returned goods.  Please note it may take longer than this for the transaction to appear in your account. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Exempt Items

Food items, earrings, cosmetics, unwrapped DVDs or CDs, Barbican Gift Memberships and sale items are all excluded from the return policy unless faulty. 

Custom prints - due to their on demand nature, we are unable to accept returns on custom made prints unless they are faulty. 

Faulty or damaged goods

If an item arrives faulty, please contact the Barbican Shop immediately and we will help you to resolve any problems.
